Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented California Coast
A helicopter soaring over a popular California coastline suddenly began spiraling uncontrollably, ultimately descending rapidly and plunging into a cluster of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Videos posted on the internet capture the aircraft commencing to spiral above Huntington Beach then plunging towards the border of the shore, where it becomes wedged between palm trees and a set of stairs adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Information
Local firefighters stated five people were taken to hospital including a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were still under review.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
